Airhead.

Reading the least thought-provoking books now, because it really lightens my heart a lot. Meg Cabot’s books, don’t really hold much life-stories and meaning to me, because it’s about ‘omg how do I look now, is that boy checking me out, omg he’s so cute, look at his blonde hair and blue eyes, omg does he want to kiss me, omg does my breath smells minty, I hope I can put my hands on his biceps and feel those lines, oh mhhhm look at his smile, it’s so cute omg I can’t breathe, save me’.

I admit, her writing is simple, I don’t seem to be able to find anything quotable but there’s just one thing I like about her books: Fantasy. You feel as though you’re living a life, which is obviously impossible when you read her books.

But it makes you happy. You can feel whatever that’s going on when you read her story. The exciting, out of the world plot through her basic use of English.

Yeah, what are the chances of you waking up one morning realising you are the Princess of Genovia, or coincidentally saving the President and his son falls in love with you or someone who got crushed by a plasma TV and gets a brain transplant into the hottest teen supermodel’s body?

That’s almost zero.

But I like how her books provide some sort of escapism from reality.

Her books just make me smile, and tear. But no matter which book, it always makes you feel like you are important. Like girls should be showered with attention and love. Okay, that sounded really superficial. Maybe not just that, but also how girls can make an impact, make a difference, using the new power that they have to create a better world.

Yeah, I don’t think that’s exactly a waste of my time.

I really do admire Meg Cabot. A lot.
